Privacy Policy - Indian Calendar
Effective date: 8 September 2026
This policy applies to
Indian Calendar

), published by Vida Power Apps.
Information and storage
User-created content and app settings are stored locally on the device unless the user explicitly exports or shares them. The app uses Google Firebase Analytics to collect app interaction and device/app metadata, and Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports, stack traces, device/app information, and diagnostic data. These services help measure feature usage and improve stability; they do not upload the user's documents or locally created content.
Advertising and consent
The app uses Google Mobile Ads and Google User Messaging Platform. Google and its partners may process device identifiers, IP address, diagnostics, consent choices, and ad interactions to provide, measure, and protect advertising. Consent choices are offered where required.
See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and Google Privacy Policy.
Permissions and features
Notifications and boot completion are used to deliver and restore calendar reminders. Internet and network state support ads and optional online Panchang updates.
Permissions may be denied or revoked in Android settings. Features requiring a denied permission may not work.
Sharing and external services
We do not sell user-created content. Information may be processed by Google Mobile Ads, Google User Messaging Platform, Firebase Analytics, and Firebase Crashlytics for advertising, consent, usage measurement, crash reporting, fraud prevention, and service security. To provide optional online Panchang details, the app sends the selected date and coarse calculation inputs to a developer-operated Firebase Cloud Function, which contacts the Panchang data provider. The service also receives ordinary network information such as the IP address. The app continues to provide offline calendar information when the online service is unavailable.
Retention and deletion
Local app data remains until the user deletes it, clears app storage, or uninstalls the app. Third-party services apply their own retention policies. Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics retain data according to Google's service policies and the project's configured retention settings. Users can reset or manage advertising and consent choices through the app or device settings where available.
Security and changes
Reasonable safeguards are used, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure. This policy may be updated when app features or legal requirements change; the effective date will be revised.
